ISPM 15 STANDARD

It is based on the contract with International Plant Protection Association for marking wooden packing materials, which have a thickness more than 6 mm and will be transported by ships, by producers. Packing materials of made of completely of wood (pallet, caisson, casing, wedge etc.) are treated with heat or fumigated with methyl bromide or packing materials should be made of other alternative materials like paper, plastic or wood origin (chipboard etc.). Marking is put on materials. This marking also an undertaking to International Plant Protection Association that transactions of the standard are carried out and its responsibility belongs to the producer.
