Features: It is strong and has a long life due to its solid texture. Processing features change according to growing conditions and amount of moisture. It can be processed with hand tools and machines. It has got a very good lathing feature and it is improved with steaming. It is easily glued, it can be coloured and it accepts varnish well. Its specific gravity is 0.75 gr/cm3.

Usage Areas: : It has got a wider usage area than other leaved trees. It is especially used for production of solid furniture, wainscot, sport tools, toys, coil, handles of equipment, turnery, musical instruments, plywood, parquet, covering plate, barrel industry and for traverse production if impregnated.
